Job description
Participates in the development, implementation, and coordination of turbine aircraft engine repair and maintenance services following manufacturer procedures.
Responsabilities
- Disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly of turbine engines or engine components.
- Cleaning, inspection, and testing of fuel nozzles.
- Creation of work orders, repair orders, research in technical publications, and update of technical documents.
- Participation in internal audits and quality assurance activities.
- Development of inspection reports and non-conformity reports.
- Occasional travel and mobile repair work, approximately 20% of possible time.
- Final inspection and engine certification (Form 1).
- Project management and procedure creation.
- Perform required technical work independently and efficiently.
- Technical support and training for junior technicians.
Qualifications
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in aircraft maintenance or equivalent.
- Manual dexterity.
- Knowledge of aerospace technical documentation (P&WC or other).
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license.
- Experience in Hot Section Inspection (HSI) with P&WC.
- Good knowledge of aviation regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
