Senior  Engine  Technician  –  MRO

Job description

Participates in the development, implementation, and coordination of turbine aircraft engine repair and maintenance services following manufacturer procedures.

Responsabilities

  • Disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly of turbine engines or engine components.
  • Cleaning, inspection, and testing of fuel nozzles.
  • Creation of work orders, repair orders, research in technical publications, and update of technical documents.
  • Participation in internal audits and quality assurance activities.
  • Development of inspection reports and non-conformity reports.
  • Occasional travel and mobile repair work, approximately 20% of possible time.
  • Final inspection and engine certification (Form 1).
  • Project management and procedure creation.
  • Perform required technical work independently and efficiently.
  • Technical support and training for junior technicians.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in aircraft maintenance or equivalent.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Knowledge of aerospace technical documentation (P&WC or other).
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license.
  • Experience in Hot Section Inspection (HSI) with P&WC.
  • Good knowledge of aviation regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
