Job description
Work on maintenance and overhaul of components and dynamics with a great team of technicians. Perform maintenance, repair and overhaul of helicopter powertrain components with the highest standards for flight safety, quality of work and customer satisfaction.
Responsabilities
• Maintain the aircraft components in a safe and efficient manner with emphasis on compliance with the FAA.
• Perform housekeeping duties required to keep the hangar area to keep it neat, clean, and presentable.
• Read, understand and interpret maintenance manuals, technical websites, and written/verbal instructions.
• Report any major malfunctions or damage to appropriate individuals in the most expeditious manner.
• Submit all appropriate paperwork in a neat and timely manner.
• Actively promote a positive company image by providing the customer with courteous, efficient, and safe service.
• Become thoroughly acquainted with and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Airframe license is preferred, not required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Aviation overhaul of HELICOPTER components.
- General knowledge in the use of hand tools and shop equipment.
- Ability to pass a DOT FAA regulated drug and alcohol test.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Able to use arms, hands and legs to accomplish tasks.
• Able to sit, stand and squat for extended periods of time.
• Able to climb with balance on and off aircraft. - Legal resident of the United States
