In the workshop or on site at the customer's location, you are the ultimate technical reference. When dealing with a complex turbine engine, your role goes beyond simple repairs: you must apply a rigorous methodology to diagnose anomalies that are invisible to others. You have a thorough understanding of critical tolerances and OEM standards. This is a position for an elite technician who is driven by mechanical precision, absolute regulatory compliance and solving complex technical problems on high-tech equipment.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Perform heavy maintenance: Disassemble, thoroughly inspect, diagnose, reassemble, and repair turbine engines and their components in accordance with OEM manuals
- Ensure compliance and certification: Perform quality control, certify engines after inspection, and ensure complete traceability of technical documentation in accordance with standards (EASA, FAA, Transport Canada)
- Be an expert: Provide advanced technical support to customers and the internal team to assess project feasibility and resolve complex cases
- Mentor the technical team: Support supervisors and guide junior technicians in applying internal procedures and best maintenance practices
What We're Looking For
- Education: A college diploma (DEC) in aircraft maintenance, mechanical engineering, or equivalent training.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in turbine engine maintenance (knowledge of Pratt & Whitney engines is highly preferred).
- Technical skills: In-depth knowledge of international regulatory standards and the ability to interpret complex technical documentation.
- Languages: Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) is essential for technical discussions and reporting.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to perform technical assignments at customer sites.
