Optima Aero is proud to announce the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Galaxy Aerospace, a leading helicopter MRO provider based in Malaysia, to provide certified helicopter parts supply. This collaboration marks a key step in Optima Aero’s continued expansion across the Asia-Pacific region, reinforcing our commitment to delivering certified helicopter parts and tailored support services to regional operators.
The agreement was formally announced during the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) — one of the region’s key events for aerospace and defense, and finalized by Optima Aero’s President, Toby Gauld, at our headquarters in Beloeil. The agreement was led by Melanie Tolentino, Optima Aero’s Director of Business Development – APAC, as part of our broader strategy to increase proximity, agility, and responsiveness to clients across Asia.
Under this agreement, Optima Aero will support Galaxy Aerospace’s maintenance operations by supplying certified, high-quality helicopter parts, enabling faster turnaround times and improved service reliability for helicopter operators in Malaysia and neighboring countries.
By combining Optima Aero’s global inventory and part-out expertise with Galaxy Aerospace’s strong regional footprint and MRO capabilities, the partnership aims to deliver enhanced operational support for a wide range of helicopter platforms.
