Optima Aero, a global leader specializing in the supply of refurbished helicopter parts and engines, has entered into an agreement with Uniflight Global LLC, a significant player in the American aftermarket sector, to buy its assets located in Grand Prairie, Texas. The creation of Optima Aero USA aligns with the growth strategy of the Canadian company, aiming to accelerate its international expansion.
Optima Aero inc. sets up in France and creates Optima Aero Europe
Optima Aero Europe will begin operations on May 4, 2022 in New Aquitaine, France, and more specifically in the Biarritz region. Optima Aero Europe, like its parent company Optima Aero Inc. located in Montreal, Canada, will dismantle end-of-life helicopters and provide reconditioned helicopter parts for Airbus, Leonardo and Bell Flight helicopters.

A recognized helicopter industry C-level executive and thought leader, Larry has led several companies in this space, including Sagem Avionics, Safran Helicopter Engines North America, Heli-One, and Alexandre Dhanwant Associates.
Passionate about Strategy and Support in the helicopter industry, Serge held defining leadership roles in Safran Helicopter Engines notably in the positions of Vice-President Strategy and Vice-President Sales and Support.
Aerospace professional and industry analyst, Claude has worked extensively at developing and executing corporate strategies. His roles included director P&WC, Vice-President Strategy and Marketing CEL, Vice-President Strategy and Marketing CAE and is currently serving as board member at Groupe Meloche.
Frédéric working currently as Director Aerospace solutions, Business Development Bank of Canada, has over 25 years of combined work experience in the aerospace industry and with various government agencies, most recently with Pratt & Whitney Canada. Previously, he was Director, Aerospace Investments with the Société Générale de Financement du Québec.
As an experiences aerospace leader, Denis has been at the heart of the Global Aerospace Industry in operational and strategic Vice-President Positions within P&WC and as Vice-President Quality and Projects at Bombardier Transport. He is also currently involved as Partner and COO of MOOVINV Aerospace, a new innovative start-up.
